Project: Acenn Kickstarter
Project: Acenn is a promising looking Metroid-like game that only has 4 days left on its kickstarter goal. All of the footage available currently is very rough, but there is some clearly talented pixel art here, and the gameplay is based on that familiar Metroid foundation.
Rubi: The Wayward Mira Kickstarter
Rubi: The Wayward Mira has been in development for some time, but it’s coming closer to its goal of being released. It sounds like a sword and sorcery style plot, where your character is trying to survive in a world full of magic without any powers of her own. It’s got a steam page now, so you can wishlist it today as well.

The True Achievements site picked up that Iconoclasts is getting achievements and has derived a January 23rd release date based off the info. Iconoclasts is one of my favorite story-heavy Metroidvania games, so this is exciting for Xbox fans.
