Ato

4 out of 5. Frenetic gameplay and novel and deep mechanics are wrapped up by an emotional silent narrative, making Ato one of more memorable experiences within the Metroidvania genre.

Sheepo

3 out of 5. A functional and fun platformer that manages to wear just a little thin with its gimmicks even with its short playtime, but makes up for it with a uniquely bizarre atmosphere.

Lootbox Lyfe

4 out of 5. A treasure trove of platforming challenges, with plenty of options to accommodate players of all skill levels. It can be punishingly brutal, or you can just enjoy relaxing exploration.

Toki Tori 2+

3.5 out of 5. Puzzle Game enthusiasts will likely be enamored by the innovative spatial reasoning puzzles of Toki Tori 2, but with its theming Action Platformer fans may struggle to stay interested.

Gato Roboto

4 out of 5. A highly polished Mini-Metroidvania that will provide a hilariously cute romp for genre veterans, or an excellent starting point for newbies. Its flaws are easily outshined by its style.

Weebish Mines

3 out of 5. A unique exploration experience about resource management and goofy lighthearted themes. The oldschool design is likely to turn off many, but if you can get past that it’s very rewarding.

Rabi-Ribi

4.5 out of 5. If you like Bullet Hell, just good well-designed bosses, or if you enjoy challenging yourself with sequence breaking runs, Rabi-Ribi is master-in-class in all three. Accessible to all.

Furwind

3.5 out of 5. Not a true Metroidvania, but worth checking out anyway if you like the genre. Great visuals, music, and spot-on controls for fun platforming challenges make this easy to recommend.

Catmaze

4 out of 5. A Unique Slavic Tale. Even if you don’t like cats, if you enjoy excellent Metroidvania Exploration and a well-told story with endearing characters, you owe it to yourself to buy this game.
